Columns

Poetry

Quite self-explanatory, the “Poetry” column publishes work by established and emerging writers. We are interested in any work that is good and thought-provoking — poetry is a sort of eros — but particularly work that employs performance or enactment (“ritual”), engages the archaeological record, plays with materiality, or otherwise wouldn’t look out of place in a grimoire.

Oneirocritica

“Oneirocritica” is unique among magazines in that we publish first-hand accounts of dreams and interpretations of dreams: the dream is a text, and we publish text and its critique. We are particularly interested in work that applies non-traditional or experimental modes of analysis to dreams — not just heavy-handed references to Dream Moods. We want dreams read under Marxist, structural and poststructural, feminist, (de/anti)colonial, or whatever critical lens you have at your disposal.
